No not liked, LOVED.
This was glorious.
I have been holding on to this book since its release date, for some of the silliest reasons…I knew I’d love it. I just knew it. But I didn’t want to be hit with the disappointment if it didn’t live up to my expectations, and all the hype.
But the last book in the trilogy, The Queen of Nothing, is out this month. And after hearing about the cruel (ha) ending of The Wicked King, it felt only right to wait until the third is just about to be released to catch up…
And I’m so glad I did. This was a delightful read. The characters are wonderful. The plot clever. The relationships tense and enjoyable.
I’m excited to read the sequel.
